I think ive said it before im not the cooker in my family......so when i got married i had alot of learning to do.i have to say ive come a long ways...i can now make more than a grilled cheese ;-) matt - the sweet hubby he is - says im too hard on myself and that everything ive cooked him so far is yummy. So im gonna try to make at least one new recipe a week. It going to be simple,quick and yummy. We are so busy to be cooking for hours during the week. This week i tried taco pie.... it was YUMMY!! Taco pie 1 frozen pie crust 1 lb hamburger meat 1 can refried beans 1/2 jar salsa or taco sauce (i used salsa) 1/2 onion 1 pack taco seasoning 1 cup crushed tortilla LOTS OF CHEESE Cook pie crust as directed. Cook meat with onion and taco seasoning as directed on season pack. Mix can of beans and salsa together. Layer pie shell with 1/2 bean mixture then 1/2 meat, layer all the crushed tortillas and 1/2 cheese. Repeat layers and finish with lots of cheese ;-) *notice i am a CHEESE LOVER* I swear I could eat cheese and butter on everything! Baked to melt cheese. Eat.eat.eat! Super yummy ;-) Top with sour cream, lettuce or any yummy ideas you have ;-)

Two of her friends stayed the night with us and we went to Dollywood Splash Country Sunday!  I love that place and kiddos do too.  What I didn’t love was being in a bathing suit walking around ;-( I need some major work! Why is it that 8 years later and 2nd baby things just don't go back on their own! well at least not for me ;-)

3 girls stayed the night with Baylee Sunday night !  Plenty of girl time watching scary movies;-)

Monday was my brother’s birthday…Happy Birthday Raymong! So we hung out on the lake all day with Ray and Katrina ;-) Katrina birthday was last week too..Happy Birthday Katrina!  Love these two people. Ended the day with a cookout at their place with some yummy watermelon(thanks Shane) and yummy ice cream cake (thanks ME…leave the fattening stuff to me as I preach how I need to lose ummm….10-15 pounds)

She is in the “learn something new every day” stage and I LOVE IT!! She amazes me daily! She constantly has her “2 year old markings”….you know the 2 scrapped knees and at least 1 scrapped elbow. Times are hard on the body at this age but it doesn’t slow her down one bit ;-) She now talks in complete sentences…….well 2 year old complete sentences. She speaks the language that is only understood by Mommy, Daddy, Issy and grandparents! (and very close friends ;-) She counts to 10 and sings her ABS’s. Knows some of her favorite colors like PINK. Have I ever told you she is CRAZY in LOVE with Minnie Mouse! I’ve never seen a love like it. She is a HUGE Daddy’s Girl at the moment and I have a feeling this stage may last a life time ;-) She has the BEST love/hate relationship with her Issy ;-) And well… looks like her mama more and more every day ;-) She is the best little lady. I could not ask for any different!

nashville, tennessee

For our anniversary we decided to take a quick weekend trip to nashville, tn! Matt had planned the trip which was SUPER SWEET ;-) and he did an excellent job. Friday we just did a little shopping… OK OK OK…6 hours of shopping ;-) Lucky for me Matt doesn’t mind shopping.

Saturday morning we got up and headed downtown to run a 5K….Walk me home ..where I belong….The campaign helps support foster children. They are having a run in KNOXVILLE, TN OCTOBER 7TH and I would LOVE to invite EVERYONE to come and support these awesome people. I have a VERY special little person that I met about a year ago that would love your support. She has touched my life more than most. I can’t really explain it but I LOVE this little gal! She has opened my eyes to so much and I just pray that she never has to experience any of her past again. So with that said please come and support these kiddos and the awesome people that are making a difference in their lives everyday ;-) If you know of anyone that would like to run/walk please let them know and if you have any question please just ask I’d love to get TONS of people! Matt and I had both ran a 5k but not together. Matt and Baylee ran one in Feb. and I ran one at work…So this was another 1st for us! We ran it together….well ok I was a couple steps behind him….. OH well we both finished and it felt great. I am running another at work May 31st ;-)

So back to our trip…we went to a Miranda Lambert concert Saturday night. It was great! We felt like we HAD to go to a country music concert while we were in THE COUNTRY MUSIC CITY. She wouldn’t be our 1st pick BUT we had a super time and loved watching her sing…..Well matt loved seeing her “black” panties….ha.ha. Yes you read that right…. we had pit tickets so we stood right by the stage and he got a little peak ;-) I love that girl’s attitude and personality! She is who she is and that’s it! Love the fact that she is completely comfortable with herself and doesn’t try and fit the 100 lb image that lots put on! We had a great time NASHVILLE! Who wouldn’t with Mexican, shopping, ice cream, cold drink, pizza, live country music and cowboy boots ;-)

We had a great time but missed our girls a ton! They were in great hands with grandparents and friends! Thank you everyone that pitched to help us out!

Matt and i are happy to announce 3 new additions to our family..... we are a proud aunt and uncle of a gorgeous gal and 3 handsome fellas ;-) And we aren't done yet ;-)1st i found out my brothers expecting his first baby...its a boy and due date is near September 13th which is a very special day...Aunt Robin's birthday and id love to share my day with that sweet "neu" boy! Next we found out we get to get pink bows for the "wright" baby girl....which is obviuosly what we are use to with 2 gals of our own! Of course we are super excited for colton's little sister! And we just found out there is a melton baby on the way!!!! HOLD IT....Not what you think......we are the AUNT and UNCLE and chris and grace are the mommy and daddy!! we cant wait to go to cali and visit this little baby boy or girl melton! We cant wait to love all these babies;-) I hope there is more to come ;-)

MISS BAYLEE

WOW!!! I cannot believe my little girl only has 3.5 more hours of the 4th grade! Time flies as memories are made. We made lots of memories this year. So many great things happened this year.

• Baylee had her 1st boyfriend…and they are still going strong ;-) Joe
• Went to Chicago
• Got her a phone
• Got an ipad and loves it.
•  Ran her 1st 5K and won for her age group. (ran with Matthew)
• Hit 2 homeruns in spring softball ;-)
• Started playing AAU basketball and loves it.
• Took 4 dance classes at Arts in Motion
• Donated ALL birthday presents to Girls Home in Oakdale (Baylee and Haveyn for their 10th Birthday) So Very Proud! This truly makes my heart smile!
• Went Zip lining in the Smokies
• Played Kingston City ball with Coach Matt
• L.O.V.E.S. Wasabi’s and Menchies ;-) perfect family date in Baylee’s eyes
• 1st time a Best Friend moved away ;-( we still keep in contact and get to see her though.
• Size 10 in clothes and 6 in shoes
• Rode the Screaming Eagle at Dollywood….awesome ride btw!
• Dressed up as a nerd for Halloween
• Got a character counts award at school.
• Got most improved Reading award
• Got Math award….she has ALWAYS been pretty awesome at math ;-)
• Got social studies/science award…Matt claims some credit to this one! Many study lessons together ;-)
• A/B honor roll
• Physical Fitness award
• Attendance Award
• Had 3 AWESOME teachers! Baylee adored them all! Thank you thank you! This truly means the world!
• Shot a gun
• Went to 1st UT softball camp
• Stayed at Disney Animal kingdom and Disney Vero beach
• Helped feed the homeless for Thanksgiving ;-)
• 4-H Club President
• Received 4-H award

I will stop there….I have so much more but you get the point….We are so proud of the little lady you are becoming Miss Baylee. Since the day you were born…you have had a way of making me laugh out loud everyday! You are special Kid! I love your outgoing, crazy and wild personality. Keep up your determination and hard work and i promise the sky is the limit! Dream…..DREAM BIG! Love you more than you will ever know Pumpkin!!!
