All Because Two People Fell in Love......

Finally Finally Finally....My mom's side of the family all got to get together for dinner on June 18th. My Brother Ray and his girlfriend Katrina and Matt, I and the girls all flew to Tampa that morning, this was Mattison's first plane ride...it was a success. She slept the whole travel time. Baylee loves to fly which is great for traveling trips. But it was great to see everyone at Mimi and Pops house that evening. My mom has a brother and a sister that both came with their families. There were around 20 of us. We ate Betty's BBQ which is always good; If you are ever in Yalaha you should definitely try it! Most all of my family now lives somewhere in Florida so it is not the easiest thing to get everyone together, but we did and it was awesome! I wish like crazy that I lived closer to my grandparents I miss them so much. They always lived in Oak Ridge when I was growing up but my Mimi always went to Florida for the cold winters BUT after my Pop retired from dentistry they went to Florida and never came back...I understand though. Weather there is wonderful. I had a wonderful trip and it felt so good to see everyone together... here are a few pictures from the trip and yes they are definitely out of order but I am still trying...:)

Okay I am just going to leave the last post but I accidentally added this post WAY before I was complete with it....so I will work on my next post and I promise it will not be all scattered....I am not really sure what I am doing wrong but it is apparent that I am doing something wrong... Melton Annual Camp

Okay before I even start this post....I so need a blogging class. I know that sounds silly but seriously I know nothing about this stuff. I am trying to guess and this is what my blogs look like...all jumbled up!!! HELP!!! Okay I will get back to the real stuff but just bare with me because I am still just learning. ( this above picture is not suppose to be first but it is because I am tired of trying to move it Ha!)
Every year the Melton's have an annual camping trip the week of the 4th. It is always a blast for the kids and everyone in the family. It is full of laughter, lots of awesome food, kids, boats, horse shoes, bike riding, naps at anytime and tons more. All five Melton Brothers and their families take this week to kick back and catch up with each other and most of all remind each other of memories! I always have fun with these people! They are all great...I am very lucky to be a part of this family. Here are a few pictures from this years camping trip.....

Busy is all I can say.....

I will never know how my mother did it all!! We have been so busy with Baylee and trying to get everything ready for the new baby girl also! SO........I think with almost 2 1/2 weeks left everyone is wondering what this Baby Girl Melton's name is......... I "think" we have decided on Mattison Grace Melton! Now trust me things can change in 2 weeks but I am pretty confident with Mattison Grace! Everything else has been going very well - we are going to the doctor 2 times a week and yesterday she weighed 6 lbs 10 oz! We can not wait until she arrives ESPECIALLY Baylee. Everyday Baylee tells me that she wants me to go into labor!! She has been helping get everything finalized for her sister to get here! It has been so long since we posted that so much has happened. I will try and make a better post later and update with some pictures!

Eight is Great.......

For Baylee at least! My baby girl is 8 years old now! She turned 8 January 3rd! The family took her out to eat but her party will not be until the end of the month at the indoor swimming pool! It was the closest date that we could get :( Baylee and her friend Haveyn always combine their parties! Haveyn turns 8 January 9th! I can not believe how fast Baylee is growing up. It seems like every year just keeps getting so much faster! I am so proud of Baylee! She is in Second Grade and works really hard at everything she does! Like I have said before she is a busy girl...She is dancing and playing basketball right now and softball tryouts are January 23! There is never a boring moment with Miss Baylee! She is getting so excited about her upcoming role.........BIG SISTER!!! And I know that she will be a great BIG SISTER!! As everyone knows I was not blessed with a sister but instead two MEAN BROTHERS (Only half the time were they mean :) But really I loved growing up with two boys but I think it would be great to have a sister and now I am married to a man that has 3 sisters and a sister in law!!YAY!!! And I have a sister in law myself!! So I guess it works out! Baylee I hope that you had a wonderful day!!! We love you!!!

Happy New Years

I can not believe it is 2010!!! 2009 went by so fast and was such a busy and WONDERFUL year for our family!! I can not wait to see what all 2010 brings us but I can already say that I think that it is only going to keep getting better!! I hope that everyone has a great and healthy year!

I couldn't believe that Santa really came.......Baylee said that Santa is getting a little older these days and his sight is not so good anymore and that is why he came to our house!!!! We had a wonderful and busy Christmas once again! I loved getting to see family, talk, play games and of course eat a ton of food!!!! Here are just a couple pictures of this year.....
