Meltons Take LA ;-)

Saturday morning at 8:00 we took off from ATL airport and arrived at LAX at 10:30 ;-) YIPPEE!!! Mattison did awesome! She had flown before but only an hour flight to florida….this was much longer and I was a little worried! I was super impressed with her….and of course Baylee loves flying! We went to LA to visit Matt’s FAVORITE brother and Sister-in-law (and of course“baby Melton”) We had tons of fun and the girls LOVED it! I wont give every little detail because i know you want to enjoy LA for yourself one day. BUT the highlights…..we went to long beach on day one. The water was chilly but it was still fun ;-) Weather there is perfect year around! 75 – 80 degrees ;-) We went to the aquarium after church on Sunday and of course ate dinner at CPK (California Pizza Kitchen) love their pizza! Went to HOLLYWOOD, San Diego Zoo (Rated 2^nd best Zoo in the USA…..Columbus, OH is rated 1^st….so guess what??? we planning a trip to Columbus Zoo) as I have stated before we are Zoo Lovers, Huntington Beach, Santa Monica Beach, Sea World San Diego, swimming with the "California Madison"….Busy Busy! We love California and we would love to come back…maybe go to the golden gate bridge next time. The last time matt and I went to Cali…I was ready to move out there…this time not so much but it is an awesome place to be and I can not wait to return soon;-) Thanks a TON uncle Chris and aunt Grace to lovin’ and spoilin’ us! We miss you already ;-( I will load some of my favorite pictures…..warning there may be lots and i will try to go in order but i can't really promise anything.ENJOY!

I picked baylee up at KES at 12:30 on Friday from 4-H camp and late that night (well I mean 2 am Sunday morning...i like to pack under pressure!!) But in between Baylee got to attended a Birthday Party for Emily ;-)

Thats Right....my baby girl did NOT like 4-H camp. She says she will never go again. Who knows! But I am super glad i didn't know that during the week because I would have been right there to pick that gal up! i don't care a bit to go get my baby if she is not happy! ;-) Anywho she survived and is home happy now ;-) Here is what she got getting off the bus ;-) she was embarrassed but later told me that she DID LIKE it a little bit ;-) i knew she did! 4-H Camp……

I never went as a Kid….i never wanted to go as a kid ;-) I knew I wouldn’t survive! In fact, in 6th grade everyone went to Tremont… well I think I might have lasted possibly 48 hours before I caught a really bad stomach virus that would only be cured with a trip back to Kingston to be with my Momma ;-)this girl was homesick! The food wasn’t too great either! So my girl brings home the 4-H camp form this year……her first reaction…No way!!! So I am a happy momma…then the peer pressure came. 2 of her BFFs convinced my baby that 4-H camp would be a blast. So what happened…Baylee is at 4-H camp all week. I do have to say the little girl had mixed feelings about the trip! She has such an awesome momma that she didn’t want to leave for a week. haha. I get to pick that sweet face up tomorrow at 12:30. I will be waiting in the parking lot! To my advantage, a friend of mine went too. So I have gotten daily picture updates! Thanks a ton Brandi ;-) It has definitely made this week much better. 24 hours! The best thing is we are on vacation all next week! WOOHOO! California here we come ;-) and depending on how are sweet, adorable, perfect 2 year old does on the 4.5 hour plane ride ….we may be stuck there for a couple years ;-) that would be just fine with me! I love LA!! That is one place that when I visited; I said let me move here….PLEASE! But I’m sure I’d miss these Tennessee allergies that I am currently dealing with ;-)
